That brand does taste better and I've had both. The brand saying it's natural states no MSG and uses organic corn. Both affect flavor. Organic corn meal retains some of the hull and all of the germ which increases flavor while providing extra vitamins—like any other whole food.

Then the non-natural one lists in parens all the supplemental nutrients it had to add whereas the natural one doesn't need to as organic carries more nutrients naturally. So does expeller-pressed sunflower oil.
Not saying this is a health food per se, as it's just a snack food but it tastes better to me and I try to avoid msg in anything. That's a health plus. ( No matter what fish says because he probably is in the MSG camp that is safe because the FDA says so.  )
So it qualifies as being able to say "natural" because it is more natural. You need to know nutrition well enough to read an ingredient list properly to know the difference. |
No. I haven't eaten them. They may be the best thing since sliced bread. But looking at the ingredients, I'm. Not going to drop the dough on them. They're the same damn thing.
