Condolences to the AVS. Did everything I said was needed to win the game but ya'll gave up too many penalties at crucial moments. Statistically ya'll were the better team but man I was talking about Deboar's game 7 record and even I underestimated how great it was. 9-0 is unbelievable however it is littered with some very lucky breaks tbh. One of the worst ones was when we faced him at San Jose. We were up 3-0 in the third and totally dominating the game. The refs gave one of our players a horrendous five minute major (then came out after admitting they made a mistake smh) and San Jose scored four goals during that spell. We equalised with seconds left but lost in overtime. That was painful to take. And tonight ya'll really had them dead in the water until that late collapse.
Dallas lost seven or eight games in a row coming into this series so for them to gain this confidence isn't great. Gonna be another tense affair between the Jets and Blues. Jets have been good all year but Blues went on an incredible run late in the regular season and if they get through this could be dangerous for Dallas.
Now onto the next round. Never like facing Mcdavid, Draisaitl, Nugent etc but they've had some terrible goalie/defensive issues so it's gonna be interesting.
Leafs vs Panthers is spicy. Panthers have been to the last two finals and Leafs have a horrific history recently in the second round. And lastly Canes vs Washington is gonna be about two questions. Are the Capitals for real this year? And can the Canes finally make a deep run? We'll see.
