How much he gets targeted is a testament to how good SS really is.

I went into this season being ok with losing SS after the year...but I think he's changed my mind quite a bit. After Gaines went down, that made SS even more valuable to the defense.

I really hope he gets an extension.

Guys like him are hard to find and he's perfect for our defense.

Yep. You look at the true shutdown corners in the league, and they never have great INT numbers. QBs don't throw at covered receivers.

Even when passes get completed on Smith, he usually has good coverage. He's just not great at getting his head around. He's basically the anti-Peters.

Smith has basically no ball skills. But he's long and borders on shutdown corner status.

Peters is as high risk-high reward as it gets. He'll give up a ton of yards and TDs but spark big INTs often.

I love the duo.

My only issue is we got guys that need paid. (Smith, Howard, Poe coming up, DJ, Kelce coming up, Abdullah and Branch)
