For two glorious weeks the fans of Patriots Nation and Chiefs Nation are united in common causes -- the destruction of the Buffalo Bills on MNF tonight, and next Sunday Pats/Broncos game. I've never created an "official" thread on anything in CP history I don't think, and I couldn't resist the opportunity.

All I know is that they were hoping this would be a win with Manning, not expecting - hoping. So, Brock should have less pressure on this one, as long as he looks good and they move the ball - he can survive a loss here.

However, if he plays 'good' and the Broncos can win, then it's his job to lose at that point, no matter how healthy Manning is in a few weeks. If they can pull out a win with Brock looking like he did last week, that's going to carry a lot of momentum and give him some confidence and breathing room.

Babe Ruth ENDED the dead ball era, which is commonly understood to have ended around 1920 or so.

You're right that the entire history of the NFL involved underpressurized balls from the start of the league until the start of the 2015 season, due to the NFL's complete ignorance of the laws of physics. Literally EVERY game in NFL history played in colder temperatures involved underpressurized balls due to the ideal gas law. As the GOAT, he did rule the dead ball era.
