Black Mirror?
I haven't watched all of the episodes, but from what I have seen it's been great.

Watched White Christmas last night... and it's a doozy, but I highly recommend people give it a shot and since Black Mirror is an anthology series, you don't have to watch the previous season (though I think there are very minor background linkages among the episodes as things progress.) For the episode itself, you're in for a treat if you're a fan of a certain series lead from a certain period drama from AMC.

I skipped around San Junipero from Season 3 after seeing Redditors rave about the episode and because of Mackenzie Davis. Great concept for a story and definitely worth viewing.

I talked about USS Callister from Season 4 in the Star Trek thread and again I say that it's worth a watch. I was sold once I saw Cristin Milioti and Jimmi Simpson in the cast.. but Jesse Plemons ****ing knocked the episode out of the park.

Hang the DJ... oh man. Maybe it's because of my age and the thematic matter of the episode, but **** that's a definite must recommend from my end.

Did someone say Twilight Zone? I'll have to check this out, I've been asking around for years if there is anything like TZ/Outer Limits.

ironically, one of my all-time favorite episodes is San Junipero (ironic, in that it's one of the more "happier" episodes, if you will).

Now that you understand the show, probably just start watching it chronologically. I wouldn't want to binge all the best and then work my way down - that's not satisfying.

I thought the show fell off the last 2-3 seasons but this one picked right back up.

Glad you've enjoyed it. It's truly special when it hits its speed.

This season is much better than the last one. The one with Capaldi was really creepy in a way that us programmer types can understand. We all know that one person who relates to computer games better than people. Now that I'm done with this and Resident Alien, time for Netflix to go away.

Yeah, the USS Calister episodes were really spot on as well. Season 1 Episode 1 almost turned me off on the show and I just skipped the interactive one completely because my TV didn't support it. It was weird and I really enjoy weird and/or bad SciFi... Like MoonFall, etc.

I really like this series. But I have a hard time getting through some of the episodes that just throw rationality out the window for no logical reason other than to support the plot. Character decisions that make absolutely no rational sense.
