Random thoughts before the game tomorrow

- So we have Pacheco and Hunt healthy and ready to go, how do we use them? Feed it to the hot hand? Pacheco between the 20s and Hunt in the red zone? Hunt in short yardage scenarios?

- How do we feel about Butker? Do we think he's healthy after his surgery? I know the missed 30 yard field goal is 1 out of a ton of others, but I am gonna be watching intently the first time he goes out there for a FG in the playoffs.

I'm bored and ready for meaningful football.

Our running game will do fine, especially because Andy always throws in wrinkles in the postseason with the running game, and Pacheco is healthier.

All this bleating about moving Thuney to G hurting the running game is nonsense and will be proven as such today.
Yeah, I was on the DJ train but for me it was always about the pass protection, not the running game.

Let's be honest. The running game hasn't been great this year. Some of it is play calling. Some of it is poor execution by the line. And some of it is RBs just not being very explosive.

The running game will do what it needs to do today, I'm sure.

We are and always will be with Patrick Mahomes (not to mention Andy), a pass first team. Give me the best possible scenario at protecting Mahomes as he goes his god-tier shit on the field in the playoffs. If that means putting Alex Herring at left tackle because he gives us the best chance to succeed with him there, then do it. I don't care who it is, just line them up.

End of line.
