Enjoyed the first part, probably will rewatch since it's been a few years. I think Cruise is rather odd however he brings it when on the screen and doesn't go around telling people how they should feel about politics.

It blows me away how Cruise does stunts actors half his age wouldn't attempt. There's no way I'm missing this one in the theater.
And yes, he certainly went through his "odd duck" phase (maybe he never came out of it??) coupled with all the Scientology stuff, but man, few actors have committed themselves to their craft like he has. The guy cemented himself as an honest to goodness movie icon years ago, and he just continues to fortify that reputation the older he gets. |

I’m in! Love all these movies.
Crazy how Cruise has been a legit star for 40+ years now. And the first half of his career he wasn’t really an action star.
