Finally got caught up.

My God this shit is good. I rewatched season 1 and I’m glad I did. I needed to soak in its greatness. Gilroy and Gilroy need to get to do whatever the **** they want henceforth. ****.

Thing is everything is ****ing right. The attention to detail is just damned incredible. The practical sets. The camera work the acting. Just awesome.

There needs to be more media like this. I say again. Make more content like this.

Yeah - that about covers it.

I can't decide if it's a weird character quirk or the performance itself, but I'm getting a little bored of seeing Meero say/do/look the same way in the face of EVERY possible situation.

It’s her acting. Shes not that person.



It goes back to the care taken in producing the thing. They could have just rolled her out there in the imperial uniform

Ugh -- Dedra flipping would feel so lazy to me. That's a person who's LIFE has been built for her. Who's entire identity is no different in terms of development and creed than Partagaz. Than our boy Captain Kaido. It's what she's been born into, raised in and molded by.

Some of the worst storytelling comes when an antagonist goes against literal decades of type due to a single event. It's contrived and again, just lazy, IMO. I hope they don't do that.

Moreover, as I always said with Kylo Ren -- what's this person ever done to earn a redemption arc? She knew -- all along -- what was going to happen on Ghor. This character has been universally irredeemable and in stark contrast to Cyril. His fundamentally 'decent if wrongheaded' nature was weaponized by her.

**** Dedra. I hope she takes a blaster bolt to the dome. Or maybe K2SO gets to draw his first blood in the name of the rebellion...

Agreed. But they did show her breaking down. Added a lot of depth to the character along with the orphan stuff.

I’m glad they didn’t dead Bix. [yet] It was feeling a bit like hey we gotta do shit to tie up loose ends before Rogue One.

And there needed to be a bit of not horrifying eternal sadness death kind of thing…again.
