I just can't believe how bad the team is. This hinges on Alex Smith and a soft defense. He's too damn timid to lead the team and refuses to take charge. He's too seasoned of a vet to think he's going to somehow improve. Smith is done as a player doing anything significant.

Everyone will give Reid a break and a second chance after he releases Smith. Ive been a fan since 1988, I've learned never to underestimate a fanbase that clamors for 9_7 and hope...

This is a classic case of going full Chiefs. Seen it before, knows how it will end.

Did you see all those players sitting next to Smith, yukking it up on the sidelines? Oh that's right; it never happened.

You are truly clueless in this matter and should go back to the kitchen and make us sammiches.

Umm...

The only times Reid had an 'explosive' offense in Philly was exactly twice :

1. When he had TO (one season)

And

2. When Dogkiller Vick came back in 2010, and as soon as teams got film on him, he came crashing back to Earth.

McNabb to Hank Baskett never struck fear into the heart of any opposing secondaries, ever.

Where do people conjure up this ****ing fairy tale that Reid was ever anything more in Philly than what he is now??

He's always had an offense that was on the top end of mediocre. That's his 'thing'.

This team is definitely missing something.

They do everything without passion: getting off the field, getting to the line, running routes, getting pumped on defense to stop an opponent from a late long scoring drive, running the two minute offense, having a guy like Ray Lewis to rally around and incite some energy.

It all seems to flow from who else but Alex "Mopey" Smith- he always seems to be on tranquilizers!

Exactly - going into yesterday, with a backfield of Charles, Sherman, West and Davis, I would deactivate Hammond and Avant, and go full on Wing T. Wishbone.

I DARE them to try and stop the run.

When we came out and were dedicated to running we were running down their throats until Charles got hurt.
