Why dont you guys recruit your own big man instead of trying to grab one from the portal? Curious? I would think with the rich tradition and pedigree (and $$$) that Kansas has, it would be easier than most have it?

Because Flory presumably has a distaste of this coach/program for playing KJ Adams over him all season and doesn't trust this coach/program.

He has a generational talent coming next year, plus another top 20ish recruit. I'd say that's a decent start to the class.

The last few years, it was well beyond this point before they'd signed any transfers. I don't think it's time to panic yet.

Well, I guess Kentucky did the same thing and ended up making it further in the tournament.

On one hand, outside of Flory, a clean slate sounds great compared to the past couple seasons.

OTOH, I have a feeling when the season starts, it'll be like watching preseason football... exciting for a few minutes because CBB is back, before realizing you don't really care about any of the players getting significant minutes because they may not even be on the team very long.

If everyone BUT Flory would have left, I wouldn't have cared. Coit would have been one I would have been ok keeping. But, I guess we're going to see what kind of team they can assemble from nothing.
