This Forum Is Dead - Page 2

I don't frequent here much, but it has become apparent just by the posts time and frequency by each thread that this place is a shell of what it once was. Chiefsplanet has lost some flavor IMHO. It's a shame too, while I didn't post much I thoroughly enjoyed reading some of the opinions of people here. Oh well, here's to it regaining its lost glory some day.

This is just proof positive that the DVNJs have finally realized that their support for this failed coaching administration is now and forever, completely and uncontrovertably a failure. They can't bring themselves to admit that there has not been one positive thing that has happened under this cry-baby monkey's watch, and rather than take their lumps, they've taken their ball and ran off to some shitty picnic and golf tournament.

I liken this place like a tailgate prior to college football....When the team is really good and exciting everyone leaves the tailgate and is planted in their seat unwilling to miss any football action....When the team doesn't offer much in the way of winning big games and or championships then many people would rather stay out at the tailgate drinking and socializing about everything else in the world with just a touch of football mixed it.

After the last two games I personally am about as excited to talk Chiefs football as I am to talk pie baking and cross stitching. The last two weeks gave everyone another taste of what we have been eating the last decade....high hopes dashed with a cold dose of sour reality. If they pull their heads out and rip off a couple good wins to move to 4-2 then the excitment about Chiefs football will be back....lose the next two and go to 2-4 and well I suppose you can imagine what that will look like around here.

It does suck around here lately....I know of 2 posters that only make one or two posts every couple of months if that....and I really miss them...
