God, that was beautiful.
The nod to Han Solo was great. Also the piece of tech hanging down over the Yavin conference table is quite...familiar... ![]() ![]()

Just finished.
Holy cow, what a great job and great show. Precise. Poignant. I want more Cassian Andor now. Probably never going to get it.

You could follow Klaya. You could follow Vel. Not sure Willmon is worthy of it, but who knows? They have some paths.

Gilroy says he's done with SW for what it's worth. Disney's money could change that, though, I imagine.
I'm of the opinion that leaving it here with these characters works just fine. The fact that the story was self-contained like it was is also what made it effective. |

I'm still really surprised this show got greenlit to be honest just because of the material.

None of the characters are worth exploring further. Put it to bed.
But make another gritty realist Star Wars show set after Return of the Jedi, or maybe do Shadows of the Empire in this style. It would actually work quite well with all the backstabbing and squabbling between Xixor and Vader, trying to gain the Emperor's favor. Cloak and dagger shit with our heroes, too.

If anybody feels like watching something with the same kind of vibe after this, I’d recommend Gilroy’s movie Michael Clayton that is excellently crafted. Similar slow-burn thriller. I’ve always thought it was his best work (at least until Andor came around).
