I doubt it. If anything he's probably going to be even more insufferable. Cowboys almost assuredly aren't giving him a contract and he'll be second fiddle to Lamb.

Maybe. Dak is a respectable QB and it's a contract year for Pickens. If he is out-of-his-mind stupid then it won't matter, but if he is able to pull his shit together he has an opportunity to land a decent contract so he can be a really out-of-control rich asshole WR diva.

This seems to cement his perception as a problem in the locker room. Andy and Veach isn't having that shit in their locker room.

I've had some really hard interviews in my life. Something like this, would be a hard interview. You try to bluff your way past them, you are toast.

I see the exact opposite. They’re too arrogant that they can fix head cases.

AB and leveon legit cost their team seasons by putting the locker room in disarray. Pickens costed his team games. Like the one where he was raging on a DB by blocking him out of the end zone on a Hail Mary. The team bounces back really quick so I guess that’s a credit to tomlin but I think he gets way too much credit for it considering how willing he is to drop grenades in the locker room.

Yeah he did

They tried for a couple years to hold onto Bell in spite of behavior.

Brown played there for eight years.

That was all even this same regime. Just because they run the ball and don't fire coaches doesn't mean they are some kind of no nonsense ideal. Pickens just isn't that good.

The Steelers history of offensive players, mostly WRs, who became extremely extremely toxic… goes way beyond leveon, AB, Pickens. And yeah arguably Big Ben. Let’s also not forget…

I think he has talent. His skill is making contested catches. He might be the best in the league at it. He's just not great at getting separation and blowing guys away. That's why he's on the highlight reels every other week because he's making some kind of crazy contested catch down the sideline. That's basically his game. Not sure how that'll play with Dak. You need a QB who's willing to throw it up to him even when he's not open.

The track record of guys the Steelers gave up on isn't great either though. He's definitely going to be under more of a microscope now.

I didn't pick a side but just pointing out that had we drafted him instead of skyy, we'd have an extra 3rd round pick right now instead of nothing...

We still have Skyy Moore on our books so I'd say that's actually worse than nothing.

What? Are you talking about the Toney trade? You really think the Chiefs were pinning their hopes and dreams on rookie Skyy Moore in 2022 and traded for Toney because their plan didn’t work? How do you know Veach wouldn’t have done the deal anyway if Skyy had put up at minimum rookie year Mecole Hardman stats?

All of which had decent seasons and were productive with Pitt but essentially did nothing after leaving. Pitt made the right choice in letting all of them go.

Also you have no proof that Veach wouldn’t have done the Toney trade if we had taken Pickens and he put up comparable numbers to his rookie year in Pittsburgh
