As a Yankee fan I tip my hat to him and an awesome year. I feel he should be MVP. But I wouldnt mind seeing my boy Sheffield get it :thumb:

I remember watching Ichiro from the right field grass in Seibu stadium when he and the Orix Blue Wave clinched the pennant against my beloved Seibu Lions.

The guy was bigger there than Jordan was here.

Hell of a ball player. Hell of an accomplishment.

MVP? He's on a last place team hitting singles. Aside from hits and BA, he is nowhere near the top in any statistical category.
