I couldn't bring myself to start this out this season with a loss. So the Top 8 Bottom 2 waited patiently like a monkey in a pinata just hoping the kids won't break through with the sticks.
1. Philadelphia Eagles - I believe they are the best team in the NFL. McNabb leads the NFL in passing yards and these guys just find a way to get it done every week. I was impressed by their win over the Vikings a few weeks ago. They share a Bye with the Chiefs this coming week.
2. Seattle Seahawks - The balence of power this year seems to have shifted to the NFC. The Seahawks face a big game against the Rams coming off of their Bye week. We will see if Joe's boys and take care of the girlies in STL.
3. The Chiefs Banner - People are doing a lot of talking about why the Chiefs won on Monday Night. Some say it was Priest Holmes. Some say it was our agressive defense but all those people need to shut up. It was my banner. I purchased and hung a Chiefs Banner in the main room of my apartment and since said hanging our guys have been 1-0. 4. Missouri Tigers - They pulled a great win over Colorado to get a good spot in a wide open Big 12 North. We will see if they can keep a consistant style of play that matches up with their talent level over the long haul.
5. Chiefs Offensive Line - I knew the offensive line put up a good game just from watching the game and understanding how it unfolded. Anytime Holmes and Green put up the numbers they did you know the line did well. Having said that I had no idea how dominating they were. Looking back at the game I was amazed at some of the blocks they are getting. Will Shields pulled from the right hand side on a goal line play isolated Ray Lewis in the open field...made contact and put him on his back. That is skill.
6. My Math Teacher -Thank you for lettting out your class really early Monday night becuase of the football game. May God bless your soul for being so thoughful and for being able to do Math better than I will ever be able to.
7. Papa John's Pizza - They have a great online ordering system and as much as I like Pizza Hut I dig PJ's becuase it isn't as greasy. Fantastic compliment to the Monday Night game.
8. DRU's Torrents - Thanks to DRU for taking the time to make those game clips. I am sure I am not alone in appreciation of the work that goes into making those.

1. Robert L. Medvee - Workers repairing a home damaged in a tornado discovered nearly two dozen boxes filled with child pornography. This guy was brought up on 48 charges. "It was the largest seizure of child pornography I've ever seen," Rolle said. "We had to bring in a pickup truck to get all of it out of there." 2. Ray Lewis - Ray Ray. Be honest with yourself. The Chiefs own you. Will Shields tossed you around like you were one of his little lady friends. At the end of the game you were whining and bloody and you sounded like a bitch. Don't do any more commericals till you beat the Chiefs alright? In your own house no less...
