View Full Version : My new pair of shoes.

I'm on some sort of "growing company CEO" list, which is kind of funny because I get marketing mailings for things like $10 million mountain homes and requests for $10,000 donations to nonprofits.

Well, it finally paid off.

The Denver Nuggets sent me an autographed Kiki Vandeweghe basketball shoe as part of trying to sell me season tickets. The nice thing is that they accidentally have my old address and my new address in their database, and they sent a left shoe to my new address and a right shoe to my old address.

If they weren't both Size 13s, I'd be set. Anyone want to buy a pair of Kiki Vandeweghe-autographed basketball shoes?

-EB-...just thinks it would be hillariously great to tell everyone he knows that he actually owns 'kiki' autographed memorabilia

Probably not, since I don't.

And yes, ebola, let the bidding begin.

Will you please send $10,000 to 37 Forever?

Thanks.

The shoes are black Converse All-Stars, size 13, similar to those shown. They have never been worn, have Kiki's autograph on each shoe in silver magic marker, and appear to convey no superpowers on their owner.

hmmm--ya know, that's actually somewhat tempting--you have any idea what you want for em'?? I'm not much of a 'chucks' fan (I'm a lugz man myself), but that would be kinda cool--luckily enough, they're 13's

-EB-...now actually somewhat interested (just f*cking around before)

Those shoes look like they're straight out of 1957.

they look vintage 2004--I saw those in I-Robot--immediately after the movie, I had to rush out and buy the 'brand new vintage 2004' converse allstars and the jvc dvd/cd player!!!

Actually, I was just screwing around as well. I was probably just going to give them out to an employee as a joke prize...but...what'll you give me?

I have no idea what they're worth.

Edit: Since they were freebies for me, I'll just send 'em to you and you can donate something to 37 Forever. Phobia's recommended level of giving is $10,000, but you can probably get away with less.
