I said 11-5 at the beginning of the year. I'll stick with it, until we lose our 6th.:D

But we won't.

10-6 and I am hopeful that will be enough to win the division.

I stated earlier in the season, 11-5 or 10-6..... I think 10-6 is workable, ....hey 11-5 is just as much a pipe dream as 8-8 or worst !

I think 9-7 is most likely although I would not be surprised with 10-6. Anything less than 9-7 will be a huge disappointment.

When I first saw the schedule I predicted 11-5 as I had us being 2-2 after 4 games (Losing at Denver and at B-more). So now I'm gonna adjust my prediction to say we'll end up 10-6 as in my book we're only 1 off my preseason prediction pace.

I didn't anticipate a 1-3 start, but I still see us finishing in the 10-6 area.

...although I think it's still a little too early to tell for sure. Vermeil likes to divide the season into quarters, and I think the next quarter might well be a very strong indicator for how we finish. If we're 3-5 at the midway point, then I think we're looking at .500. 4-4 leads, in my mind, to 9-7 or 10-6. And 5-3, however unlikely that might seem at this point, would, I believe, result in a very strong second half run, possibly resulting in an almost unfathomable 11-5 or even 12-4 season.

Now, I don't think 12-4 is very likely, ditto for 11-5, but 10-6 is I think do-able. That would, also, I think, win the division, perhaps by as much as two games; I believe there's an outside shot that 9-7 could win the AFC West this year.

Not too suprisingly I have adjusted my number down from 10-6 to 9-7 and that will be IMO a miracle as we lost to two teams I thought going in we would beat. Denver and the Texans.

The Houston debacle really hurts, though. If we miss the playoffs by one game....

While I certainly can expect improvement from our 1-3 start, with our schedule and the still apparent flaws, I can picture 7-9. But I want us to be 13-3 even if it means having to go into the playoffs with that dreaded record. I'm not afraid of a number.

I think if we can make it to midseason at 4-4 we finish 6-2 and go 10-6.

[Edited to appease KcMizzou]... we have all of our division games at the end of the year when (hopefully) this team will finally be at its healthiest. If we can just not be something awful like 2-8 when we get to that point, we're at least giving ourselves a feasible chance to make a run at the division. The one division game that's always been a total bear for us to win (the road game @ Denver) has come and gone, I have full confidence that this team has the ability to win every one of the last 6 games... I guess we'll see what happens. Doesn't mean we will, but we can... if we can just find a way to get a win or two against the Jacksonville and Indy's of the world we're not in terrible shape.

That's true but we have already picked up one game against B-more that I believe most thought we would lose...

That's true but we have already picked up one game against B-more that I believe most thought we would lose...I would've predicted 3-1 at this point, so in my book we're two games behind. I thought we stood the most chance of losing to Denver, I thought Carolina and Houston would both be fairly easy victories (noting the Panthers injury problems) and I thought we would win in Baltimore against what I consider to be a mediocre team that has a tendency to play poorly/inconsistently early in the season. So I don't consider that game a trade off at all.

I can handle slipping against Carolina, but to me the Houston loss was a travesty. There's no excuse for that loss. 1-3 is a big hole to dig out of.

not as big, however, as 0-3
