1-3, bringing up the AFC West rear, up against an equally-desperate team in Florida.

We have to win more than they do. Leftwiches inconsistency costs them the game. Chiefs get 3 takeaways and win big.

Chiefs - 42
Jags - 17

Big game from Trent Green who throws for 4 TD's.

Thats winning big. Just a guess? Well, thats all anyone can do I suppose.
If we come out like we did against the Ravens we lock this game up tight and slaughter them.

Since I'll be at the game I'll say that the Chiefs lose (cause I'm like some kind of cancer when I go to a chiefs game), I'll get overserved, then kick the crap out of the asshole that's been taunting me for 4 quarters of football.

Then I suggest you do not attend the game. You gotta do it (or is that not do it) for the team Soupnazi!

26-20 good guys. We jump out to a 17-3 lead at the half, but Priest gets shut down in the second. Jax comes out fired up in the second half plays much better on both sides. We get three FGs in the second half. One by an interception in Jax territory, one by a good return by Dante, and one from our only really solid drive in the second half. Our D holds them at the end then Our Trent and Friends run out the clock.

Chiefs win but any road game is gonna be tough. Hopefully, the bye week doesn't make them rusty. Chiefs win a relatively low scoring close game.

Chiefs win by double digits.

I will also predict, should my original prediction be wrong and KC loses, that the Jags will make it to the AFC championship game.

31-17 Chiefs.

The Jags are struggling. The Chiefs have been playing better every week and are finally getting the WR corps back in tact.

I think the Jax weakness plays into the Chiefs in that they are very strong in the middle D, but the Chiefs Oline is stout in the middle. The difference is made in that they are weak at DE. I think the Chiefs are able to Run vs Jax and THAT is what makes the difference here......if they can beat the vaunted Mike Pederson.

Fred Taylor is a fine back, but he's not a power back. I think the Chiefs can contain him to manageable production, forcing Leftwich to chuck the rock.....that is.....assuming injuries to Sims, Fujita and possibly Beisel aren't as huge as they could be.

I worry about his cut back ability. Those backs always give us
fits. Will the Jags do some bootlegs with Leftwich?

Chiefs win by 7, which is a big win on the road in the NFL

Henry.......Taylor definitely has the cutback ability and the burst to do damage. The Chiefs D has done alot better in maintaining gaps and assignments without over pursueing plays...........If Holiday starts this week....He HAS to maintain his assignment.

Leftwich isn't the scrambler you may think.........He's younger, but I dare say he's not much more mobile than Trent Green. He does have a nice arm and throwing the ball to Smith and his young WRs is going to test the Secondary. They have to step up.

Our D is improving. They're for real. Our O is still for real. If we play up to our capabilities, we can beat anyone. For real.
31 - 21 Chiefs
Gonzo is going to have a spectacular game now that Kennison is back. Priest is going to start catching passes too.

In the NFL, you don't have to get significantly better to start playing significantly better. All you need is that one game to start the ball rolling. I believe the Chiefs have had that game in Baltimore. That game put a little fire in the bellies of a defense that hasn't tasted that kind of success in a few years. I think the defense goes on a little run that should last about 3 or 4 more games. If you're a fantasy football player, these next few weeks are the ones to pick up the Chiefs. Surely, we'll slide again, and we'll have to rely on our offense to make up the difference, but right now... We're rolling.

Chiefs: 34
Jags: 6

I would be satisfied with just a simple WIN! We lose to them EVERYTIME it seems :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

We want this one more:

CHIEFS 24
JAGS 17

If I make it through this one, I'll have no finger nails left by half time against the Falcons. ROFL

I was a lot more worried about this game earlier in the week. I'm feeling more confident and think Priest will break off two long runs, one of which will put the Chiefs ahead in the 4th quarter. Jax will implode down the stretch and the Chiefs will win by 14.

Leftwench should change his name. All I can think of when watching Jax is going to the fridge and gettinga sandwich, then taking a bite everytime the announcer says, "Leftwich back to pass".

I had to do a double take when you said "burst". For a minute there, I thought is was Taco talking.

3 times this year, I picked us to win..... we lost !

1 time I picked us to lose..... we won.

I picked us to win this week and we damn well better !

BTW, we suck when we go to Florida to play football, at least the last 10 - 12 years records says so.

Maybe I should pick us to lose again ? :hmmm:
