One of the pics Id definately like is one that showcases his draft talent...

i.e. the one with him and Cheney with the #04 jersey.

This is ridiculous. I think that this season has proven that staying pat was the answer. We have been in the position in the 4th quarter to win every single game this year. 4 out of 5 times.....Either VickieD has made some very questionable in-game decisions...or Al Martz Saunders play calling has been ludicrous.

The GM is not the problem. The Coaching staff is. Why Vermeil constantly gets a pass here and the whipping boys are Peterson and Hunt is beyond me.

I've read them. They're pretty funny. Not really accurate, though, in my opinion.

Funny...I'm sure if there was a Chiefsplanet back in '96 or '98, we'd all be complaining about how Marty had too much control. Of course, Marty is long gone so he can't be our whipping boy.

Dickie V and Al Martz shoulder the blame on this season. And our ineffective offense. Not the defense. And not the lack of signing anyone for our defense. And hell...you can't even blame not signing a WR on yesterday's loss....we actually had a strong WR corps yesterday...strong enough they shouldn't shoulder any blame for this latest debacle. Playcalling was atrocious yesterday. Vermeil needs to reign Martz (er, I mean Saunders) in.

kc1977... this frustration isnt just the 5 games this year. It is a combined ineptitude from many years of unfruitful seasons. The avg Chiefs fan is about to fuggin explode. Hell, I have seen 3 playoff wins in my 31 years of existence.

Why would I continue to throw my cash at a team whose owner/management would prefer to pocket an additional 6 million of Salary Cap room, instead of using that cash to actually fielding a playoff team.

Oh, I completely agree. I just think that this year we were primed to make a legitimate Super Bowl run....and I don't think signing anyone would have made a difference. That's only my opinion though.

But like I said, we have had opportunities every single game in the 4th quarter to take control and win. Very questionable gameday decisions (including some made before the game even began) and very questionable play calling have led to us not capitalizing and winning these games.

I think first and foremost, Vermeil and Al Martz need to go.

I've always liked CP. I admit it. I'd hate to see him go. But I tell you what...I'm in total agreement if keeping CP means that Saunders is going to stick around as HC. So, if kicking Saunders to the curb means that Carl has to go, I'll be the first to slam the door on his way out. But, if CP realizes what he has to do and boots VickieD and his kronies out of here, then he's got my vote to stay.

By the way, did you change your user name at some point? Just curious. I lurk quite a bit...and you have so many posts I'd think I'd be pretty familiar with you, but I don't really remember you until just recently. It's hard keeping up with the name changes so often. So, if you did change your name, if you could let me know what it was, that would be great, as it might add context for me. Thanks.
