All are welcome, including you poor victims of cross-state penis envy, the Asstro fans who just knew they were going to the World Series, and even fans of the Chicago "World Series? What's That?" Cubs.

I'm gonna kick back with a glass of 18-year-old Macallan and enjoy the moment.

I really hope the Cardinals beat the Sox. My grandfather is an 80-year old Cardinals fan.

Has anybody noticed that our very own Brian ( Endelt ) looks like a young Larry Walker ?

Hey Brian, take a look at yourself in 12 to 15 more years !

Yep 2 of the richest teams are in the WS. KC will never make it back untill a salary cap is implemented. Hell KC just as well fold and come back as a AAA farm team.:cuss::banghead::banghead::cuss:

St. Louis' payroll is about half of New York's and substantially less than Boston's.

I'm not going to complain because ONE OF MY TEAMS gives a shit about winning.

I find it very difficulot to believe that you otherwise rational thinking individuals care about this pseudo-sport. Puke!

For the first part - you should be proud - they're awesome. A giant pain in the ass that we barely survived.

As for the second part..... :shake:

As you should be. They were a great team. We had to beat a hall of famer and a 20 game winner to get past your team. Salu! :thumb:

I hate you. For the longest time I thought the Rangers would be the only playoff team in Texas this year. Then the Astros had to go and be all clutch while the Rangers choked.

Oh well. Every time I root for has choked down the stretch since my last year of college. It's really sad.

I've never understood rationale like this. Wouldn't you prefer to think that your "stros" lost to the best team in baseball?
I rooted for the Colts to beat the Patriots last year because I wanted to know that we lost to the best team, it obviously didn't happen, but still.

Having said that......GO CRAZY FOLKS...GO CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just for the Cubs fans out there. You haven't been to the World Series since Franklin Roosevelt was president during spring training, and haven't won the World Series since Theodore Roosevelt was president.

It was a great game... the Astros had their chances, and it didn't help that they were chasing pitches in the dirt all night.

I really wanted to just sit back and not care who won the WS, but now I'll have to root for the team that already won their WS.

All are welcome, including you poor victims of cross-state penis envy,

So if you're a fan of both teams, does that make you envious of your own penis? :spock:

I was busy last night and missed the game. Got in just in time to see the post game. Now, they just need to WIN the WS!

How can you root for an American League Team. ?????

DH has to go, it's time has come and gone.
:cuss: :banghead:

If the 'stros would have won, I would pull for them in WS.

Let the curse of Babe Ruth live on. :harumph:

2004 Cardinals best team in baseball.
