View Full Version : Who will be thinking about the playoffs if we beat The Colts?

This game to me is very pivotal in my enthusiasm for this season. Right now I'm still a little high from the ass-stomping of Atlanta but The Colts no doubt will bring their A game(unlike The Falcons). I will be very hopeful for a Playoff run if The Chiefs pull off a win and I will have absolutely no hope for that if they lose. I know both teams want it bad but If the Chiefs don't execute as well as they can sometimes, then all hope for this season is gone.

This is THE pivotal game in my mind that can get us back in the hunt. I know you can say that every week almost but this game just seems special to me. Denver will be really hard to catch since they are such a solid team this season, so we NEED this.

I'm not gonna start thinking playoffs until more potential wildcard teams catch up to 4 losses. There's only 2 wildcards. I doubt we'll catch Denver.

I predicted 11-5 or 10-6, LAST week....after the JAX loss.

I'm on board. :thumb:

If we beat them 38-31, then no.

If we hold them to 17 or less and win, then Yes.

I'm predicting 12-4. Maybe 13-3, but realistically I've kind of given up hope for that.

I gave up hope on 13-3 about a week ago ;)

The good thing would be if we beat Indy, we will have beaten the two teams (Colts and Ravens) that are 4-2 and the 2 wild cards as of today.

This game is all about PAYBACK time beeeotches! This team has handed us 2 playoff losses in the last nine years...(of course in 95' it was more Lin Elliot than the Colts). We OWE these fuggers an ass kicking...who's with me??!!!

The payback goes longer than that. I don't think we have beaten Indy since 1985.

It was more Marty and Paul Hackett than Elliot.

We have to go 8-2 down the stretch to even have a shot. 9-1 would be better.

It would be great, but I just don't see it. Hope I'm wrong.

I think we'll spoil a few seasons, but that's about it. Too much to overcome, I'm afraid. :(

I was thinking the same thing today, that this is a really huge game in terms of momentum. I'd classify it as must-win. A loss a few weeks down the road might be overcome as long as we finish out 8-2. A loss this week could finish the season.

Remember, this is basically the same team that ran off 9 straight last year.

Keep hope alive.

Not keg. keg's taking this season one game at a time.

I'm not a Chiefs player. Getting cocky doesn't matter.

Sure. 15/16-4, baby!
