Yeah, okay, baseball is still boring most of the time, and Major League Baesball is still the most screwed up pro sport (well, maybe hockey, since they're not even playing right now), but still.

WOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Congrats Amnorix, you well deserved the win.
From a Cards fan to a Soxs fan, you deserved it.

You were the better team.

Congrats.

You do know there is an unwritten rule that no city can win consecutive championships of the four pro sports, right?

In other words, no Patriots championship in January. :)

one of the coolest things about this victory (for me) is that my 92 year old grandfather got his lifelong wish.

Somewhere in a Boston hospital there's an 80-something-year-old terminal patient who feels lucky he lived long enough to see this.

This one's for that guy.

Wow - that was a worse ass stomping than the Bucs gave the Raiders. If I had any money, I'd have laid it all on the Cards staying in it at least another game.

Congrats.

Congratulations to you. Yours was infinitely the better team and slaughtered us in every aspect of the game. A fitting end to a long drought, though I obviously wish it had come at someone else's expense.

To you, cadmonkey and loki - enjoy your victory. I only wish my team had presented a better challenge - hell, ANY challenge.

:wayne:

P.S. - I hope the Patriots don't win another game. :p
