The Denver Post reported that the Royal's might consider trading MacDougal to the Rockies. The Rockies desperately need a closer, but can't afford to go after Benitez or Percival.
The Kansas City Star reported KC shopping Andres Blanco, Ruben Gotay, and Donnie Murphy around, possibly in a package deal with Anderson or May. The Star reports the Royals feel their best option for a power corner outfielder could be via trade rather than free agency. And we will probably go throught six year minor league free agent market for the starting pitcher, backup middle infielder, and 'stop-gap' three bagger.
