Priest Holmes - RB, Kansas City Chiefs
Nov. 10, 1:43 p.m.

Holmes (knee) told Kansas City Star columnist Joe Posnanski that he probably will miss Sunday's game at New Orleans. In fact, he might miss more than one game. "This is not the kind of injury where I can grit my teeth and play through it," he said. "This is the kind of injury that needs some rest." Holmes then paused and added, "And if after I rest, the knee still doesn't feel right, then it's something where we would have to explore surgery."

Fantasy Source spin: We expect Holmes won't miss much time, but it's worth noting this injury does have the potential to sideline Holmes for the rest of the season.

We go from a bruise to this...

Fits right in with the way the rest of our season's going.

If we dont do something to the D this off season that gives priest a warm fuzzy feeling that they actually could be good

I am afraid Priest will Retire

There would be riots at One Arrowhead Drive if that happened...

Here is the game plan!

We have given Dicky V everything he has wanted for his offence.

It time to let Gun go ape shit on our salary cap and bring in his guys.

Have Dicky V offence and Guns D we are superbowl bound

this is odd, because priest was just on nfl total access and said he is going to test the knee friday before they leave for N.O.

he said he also wants to see how it feels on the turf.hes worried about the turf at N.O

he said nothing about surgery and plans to play in the monday night game.

I'd rather have him sit and get ready for MNF. I think Blaylock and LJ can step up.

Many news agencys are going to spin the injury any way they can to sell papers or internet hits.

I expect him to be out for NO, but back for NE.

Gun should be the only one in the War Room come Draft Day.

Good thing our playoff chances were already shot. Bye Bye prolific offense if Priest is gone and Blaylock is still hurt.

I don't know if Priest knows what he wants, first everybody says Priest said he couldn't come back during the game Sunday, then Priest said he actually wanted to come back in... now he's telling one person he's not playing and another person the exact opposite. I think he just likes screwing with everybody's head. :)

To be honest with you, if Priest feels like he wants to play, along with the medical staff approval, then let him. I'd like to keep him well-rested for the MNF aganist NE.

I think he just likes the element of surprise.
