The New Orleans Saints football practice was delayed nearly two hours yesterday after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. The Head Coach, Jim Haslett,
immediately suspended practice while New Orleans police and federal investigators were called in to investigate. After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the goal line. Practice was resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again.

It's not funny for several reasons:

a) This joke was used for the Lions when the anthrax scares became popular.
b) The reason it WORKED with Detroit was because they couldn't score. New Orleans actually has an offense.

No, it's still funny if you ask me. Whether or not it's true or accurate is immaterial, it still makes you chuckle... or it did me, anyway. And it's even funnier than NO fan posted it himself!
