TX is a bit chilly tonight.

My grandpa's in town and my parents act like they're 80, so everyone went to bed at 11.

I went out, but my friends are boring, always talking about the same crap.

So I'm just looking for some conversation.

I miss the hell out of Texas. My wife told me that the extended weather forecast calls for an overnight low of 12 degrees on Monday. That's just f***ing sick!

As for my day, it was great. When I lived in Las Vegas, my two best friends were Tim and Eric. Eric moved to Omaha about a year or so ago. When I found out that we got orders to Omaha, Eric and I both started calling Tim and telling him to put in for orders to Omaha.

He did... and he got them. He got here today. I'll be very drunk on Sunday.

E@SHSU

That sounds like so much fun, NestStep.

I'll be doing a little bit of drinking myself come the 19th. That is my birthday, and I'll be turning 22.

All my best friends are coming into town and we're going to get a little toasty and go see the Spongebob movie.

Law school might actually be an option in a year or 2 if I'm completely unhappy with what I'm doing.

That's the only thing I'm truly happy about right now, the fact that I majored in English and you have a ton of flexibility with that degree.

Going after taking some time off is definitly the way to do it. The engilsh and writing background would help a great deal if you decided ahead with it. Law is basically a lot of writing a research.

Tons. You have to take an insane amount of literature classes and then tons of writing extensive classes.

I also had 2 minors -- one in comm, one in journalism.

I wrote so much in college that I seriously think I have carpal tunnel and I'm only 24.

I really have my heart set on something with sports but if in a year I don't see things going that way I'm either going to go get my teaching certificate and be a high school teacher, or I'm going to law school.

I love to argue, be loud, and be a dick so I think I have the 3 necessary qualities that most lawyers need.

If you're good looking, you'll get hired immediately in PR work.

If you're ugly, you might want to stay in school forever.

That's just what one of my advisors told me about the PR field.

The best advice I could give you is take chances and don't settle somewhere. Once you settle it's all over.

I never worked out a day in my life until I was 21, but I was in much better shape when I was 18 then I am now and I kill myself to TRY to stay in shape.

It is a really fun town when you're single. It is a really fun town when you're a "young couple." It sucks when you've been together a while and don't want to go clubbing or gambling anymore. There's nothing wrong with Houston if you like crime, air pollution, traffic, and drug problems. Now, I grant you that these are common problems in big cities, but Houston has abnormal problems with them, particularly air pollution, where they trade off the title of "Worst Air Quality" with Los Angeles on an annual basis.

Oh, and you can't forget the annual tropical storm that floods half the damned city, since they built it on a swamp... that's always nice.

I'm pretty much a Pizza Hut guy though the truth is that pizza isn't my favorite. Several years ago, I got into working out (though you could never tell by looking at me) and I got on a high-carb, high-protein, low-fat diet. Cut out all the greasy burgers and pizza and whatnot... and even though I abandoned that years and years ago, pizza has never been the same. I'd love to go to someplace warm for Spring Break, but I promised my friend I would fly out to see her in March. I think it will be exciting to go to Minneapolis. I've never been there before. Besides just walking down the beach in South Padre, barefoot, during Spring Break will give some STD.

Well, go to the Mall of America when you go there.

You won't get an STD unless you get stupid.

Spring Break is a blast at Daytona Beach.

I would, but my Shakespeare pics are bad. We had just finished an outside performance on a Sunday afternoon. In August. In a suberb of Houston. None of us were looking pretty.

If I could figure out how to use the scanner, I have a really good one.

Screw that. It will be cold as hell and there's no good skiing up there. Buy your friend a ticket to Texas instead. Tell her not to bring her parka. You'll be like a God to her...

What kind of scanner do you have?

I'm sure one of us know how to tell you what to do.

I did almost "fall out" of my costume on stage a number of times. The cast actually took bets on which night it would happen. Thankfully it never did!

Got any ideas?

Haha.

I've had a steady girlfriend for the last 3 years. It's like I'm married already. The chance of me getting some crazy bread is better right now than me getting some.

Click your heels together three times while yelling "SCAN, SCAN, SCAN!" If that doesn't work, hit it with a shoe.

It should be fairly simple.

Find the software tab for your scanneron your my programs list on the start tab, click on it and put the pic on the scanner and click scan.

That's how all of the scanners I've had worked.

I mean, yeah.... you could try doing it The Bad Guy's way but I warn you: It doesn't have nearly the giggle quotient that my way does.

Actually, for the first several years of my marriage, my wife's honest-to-God way of fixing the computer was to rear back and kick the shit out of it.

That stopped the day I bought a new computer.

Well, I have to admit that it did stop making noises after a while...

But then she'd have to admit that there was a more likely explanation than "it was just old" as to why I needed to buy a new computer...

Maybe we'll just let that sleeping dog lie...

Y'all have a good night. It is getting late so I'm going to go find something to eat, plop down on the couch, and fall asleep watching something very interesting on either the DiscoveryTimes, DiscoveryScience, or History channels.
