Corona California had a mall kidnapping with this tape footage.

I don't have sound at work so I am probably repeating the same questions, but two of them bug me.

#1. Why did the woman run before the vehicle stopped? If most people hear a car screeching, they gawk, they don't get up and run. Seems to me she knew these people.

#2. Why did the idiot bystanders just sit and watch? That is freaking amazing. Not even a single cell phone call. Has reality TV and those "Punk'd" shows desensitized us that much?

Ditto on "no sound".

I definitely agree on #1, she MUST have known those people. As soon as she saw the car, she took off running flat out.

Oh that's cute. Won't open with Firefox, but will open with IE.

They don't even mention the fact that she (how can they even tell it's a woman?) takes off as soon as she hears/sees the car. I'd guess the abduction started somewhere else and continued to there.
