Who the hell are the Charlotte Bobcats?

How the hell did they get a franchise so quickly after the Hornets?

Eh...the NBA sucks balls anyway....

If I remember correctly they are owned by the same guy who owns BET.

I didn't know they were playing yet...not that I care.

You are correct!!! The NBA does suck. I just cannot get into it, it really seems that whoever has the last shot wins, and there is to much bullsh%t with the players.

Look at that hair in your siggy. Does it look like he was hunting? Usually hunters wear hats, do they not?

What a POS. I am glad he is back in the Senate.

I like to watch the NBA playoffs, thats it. Usually not until the second round at that.

These players don't put out until then. I want entertainment, and it just is not entertaining to watch grown men run back and forth when nothing is on the line and they know it.

and this is why the NFL is the most popular sports league out there. Pretty much every week, every game means something or something is actually on the line. Plus, they only play once a week so you have the whole week to build things up with hype. The NBA/MLB and NHL seasons are waaaay to long for the average/casual viewer.

I've attended NBA games before. It's been at least 5 years since my last, though. That league really sucks. I'd rather watch Jr. High basketball.

I watch the Pistons because I like their defensive play and Larry Brown's style of coaching. Not that their games are on too much around here.

No, I can honestly say the NBA would still mean about as much as a steaming pile of dog shit to me. Too boring, too corrupt, too many whiny bitches.

and another thing...

The only time I might, MIGHT watch an NBA game is if it were a game 7 of the finals, and that's only if there wasn't also a game 7 of a hockey playoff, or home gardening program on.

And I hate hockey and gardening.

i don't know if you follow the ron artest situation, but he is a headcase, he wants to take time off to promote a cd. He is also a guy who has about a billion flagrent fouls and has destroyed camera's and tv's

The Charlotte Hornets moved to New Orleans and are the New Orleans Hornets and are now in the Western conference. Taking their place in the Eastern conference, the franchise Charlotte Bobcats were born. Also, divisons were realigned.

The problem with the NBA, at least from my perspective is that no one plays basketball anymore.
It's all about the highlight dunk, or the big time 3 pointer.

With all of Kareem's flaws, he had one of the most unstoppable shots ever in the skyhook.
But all the big men want to do is slam.

Earl the Pearl could shoot the ball from anywhere on the court, but every 3, 4 or 5 on the floor just want to drop that 30 footer.

It's just not BB anymore.
It's the highlight reel or nuthin'.

Ice hockey is only saved in my eyes, by the prospect of someone having his head knocked off by a puck, or face flattened on the ice. Otherwise it's just as worthless as the NBA.

Yep, hockey is just soccer on ice.Only without all teh gh3y chants. And those shitty "Ole" songs or whatever the hell they say. Also, hockey moves at a much faster pace.

And if none of that matters, then yes, there is the body checking and the occasional fight that makes it worthwhile.

When you live in the boonies like me......the NBA is this closest live sports to me. So I have become a Jazz fan....240 miles to the delta center.....closer than the 1700 miles I would have to do for arrowhead...but would still rather go to arrowhead.
