Although the PQ ability of RPTV vs. LCD is debatable, you DO realize the thread topic is about a LCD, right? If so, I'm confused as to why you would whip out the RPTV as a price comparision.

Who want's to watch movies on a puny 30" TV anyway? LCD TVs suck, IMO.

If I had a grand to spend on a TV I'd buy the one I posted.

My point was you are comparing apples to oranges. My wife has a 24 inch LCD mounted on the wall over her jacuzzi. Lets see you hang a RPTV on the wall. I stated that PQ was subject to debate (The LCD/Plasma black issue is a deal killer for me) but someone who is in the market for a LCD isn't going to be helped by your post.
