Don't give up hope, Mr. X_factor_82. You may yet acquire an avatar and sig. Just respond to Mr. ENDelt's posts for 30 minutes or so and you'll be elevated to the proper status.

The real problem is that many of these veterans have lost touch with their own secret, inner N00bs (sp?) which ultimately leads to blatant N00baphobia (sp?).

Just be patient, polite, and post with insight, intelligence, and flair. Eventually, you will be awarded with permissions to assign your signature and avatar. It will be unnecessary to produce an infomercial or invent a new sit and spin.
