Well, sort of. My customer was a tall silver haired lady. While I was working she said she was sure glad to finally get the Sunday Ticket so she could watch her grandson play. I'm thinking yeah, right, what third string safety that I've never heard of is this gonna be. So I ask what team he plays for. Steelers. Really, what's his name? Ben Roethlisberger. WHAT? Ben is your grandson? Yep. So he has close relatives in SE Kansas. His mother played basketball at NW Missouri State in Marysville. He also has an aunt and an uncle in Columbus, Ks. Was I ever shocked.

Should have asked her out on a date, then you could get like sideline passes!

Yeah, ghostof is right. If you dated Ben's mom, you could suddenly find yourself in a whole different social circle. You wouldn't have to hang out with people like us any more.

I don't really consider Nancy Mckeon much of a celebrity anymore...but whatever.

I'll bet he used the good stuff for Ben's grandma. Plus, he probably didn't want to show her anything tubular that wasn't a lot bigger than normal.

I doubt Grandma Roethlisberger would date an elderly chap like Skip........

Sorry, you only worked for a celeb's mom. It's not like she was in a chunky soup commercial or something.

Actually, Ben has a small suite. I asked if all the players did and she said no, he has to pay for it.

Members of my family have told me they've run into relatives of Chiefs players in the elevator at the Clarion Hotel. And I myself have done an interview with a coach for the Chiefs. If I knew then what I know now, I would have asked what the hell they are smoking at 1 Arrowhead Drive.

Hey Skip, I have a question for you concerning the Sunday Ticket. I was wondering if you can either PM me or post here the tech number you posted awhile back. I get no satisfaction talking to the CSR's or they can't help. Thanks.

We should make a trip back to watch the Superbowl at her house when the Steelers kick the crap out of the Iggles. The closest I've come to working for a celeb is moving a bunch of Tony G"s stuff into storage. I also got to do an interview with Jo Po once too. He is a very classy and nice guy.
