One of which beat my squad.

It's not a question of will they. I just want to know how it will happen. If they could finish games they could have won the north.

I won't get into a "my team sucks more" argument, but it's tempting. They haven't been good for a long time, but the Jayhawks are still my team damnit (unlike some who have a favorite squad based on the time of year).

Mizzou will always be my team, but I'll be damned if it isn't pathetic to be getting shut out 21-0 at the half, at home, to your biggest rival who has a record of 3-7.

Ahhh. I just noticed that K-State gave up 28 points in the fourth quarter and lost. That makes me feel slightly better.

WARNING! HOMER POST AHEAD: I don't think you can honestly tell how well KU has played this year by solely looking at thier record. Thier 3-7 record to me is much like the Chiefs record. It isn't like they have been blown out or anything.

Talked to the wife at the game. She's on the 40 yard line 9 rows up and she says she hasn't saw anybody leaving. She says Brad Smith has been running for his life back there, No blocking. He would run around for 10-12 seconds avoiding tacklers but they would eventually catch up with him

Hey now, I used to be where Saul was. I'm a Wichita State grad, Saul's a Washburn alum. I've got no D1 football, so when K-State turned it around in 88, I rooted for 'em. Always have been a 'Hawks basketball fan, as well as WSU basketball and baseball. Now my wife is KU faculty, and I'm getting fitted for brain implants.

What in the hell dorm did you live in?The palacial Mark Twain Residence Hall...for one year. I was surrounded by mouth breathing gomers from the boot heel, who used colorful and imaginative expressions of surprise and exasperation, such as:

"Christ on a Go Kart!!"
"I'd Crawl Thru a Mile of Broken Glass to Hear Her Fart on a Pay Phone,"
and
"Live It or Live With It."

The latter certainly being appropriate for today!

I think the right thing to do at this point in time is to close the university, burn all the buildings, kill the faculty, and salt the ground where the campus once stood.

Seems reasonable to me, I'm even letting the students live I'm not sure how much more understanding I could be.

So I went to Gaylumbia to watch the game. IT WAS AWESOME. The first half we (3 of us) were sitting on a 40 yard line 40 rows up (really good tickets considering we were students, we bought them off of some scalper).

We were the only ones dressed in blue for a 1 mile radius. It was awesome, we were sitting among the older MU fans and we were screaming and dong all kinds of funny shit. One old lady told me to go back to Kansas and called me an idiot, told me to sit down and say down (it was 14-0 at the time), it was hella funny.

We moved to the KU section after the half, people were leaving at the 10 minute mark of the 3rd quarter. The whole game was awesome, except for some remarkably BS calls against KU and for Mizzou (and I'm not being a homer, there were 2 REDICOULOUS calls, I'm surre Mizzou poeple who saw them would agree).

Anyway, we pwnd MU and I lost my voice, Columbia is teh gay and I'm happy to be back in Lawrence. BTW, MU fans blow, it was quiet the whole time, KU fans are always loud no matter what the score is.

Most of my friends from Mizzou have the same attitude about their team as many of us have about the Chiefs this year. They're calling for the a change of leadership, saying their team isn't this bad and that it should be better. I'm not going to get in war of words with MU fans, I'm just going to let our team do the talking. If one of the best teams in recent KU history isn't good enough to make the Final Four, I don't know who is. It's time for Simien to take his place amongst the great KU seniors and bring home a championship Manning style.

I just don't see how Pinkle goes right before Brad Smith's senior year. Maybe next year?
