Hey do any of you currently use or know a lot about various web cameras that are out there? I'm trying to find something fairly economical and easy to use for use to get our parents. Now that we have kids, and both sets of parents are thousands of miles away... we thought we might get webcams for everyone.

I can't find a good resource to compare and view my options.

We all have fairly new PCs - running XP for home as the OS.

Gracias.

Well, aside from the midget porn and gerbil appreciation day... we'd like to get the grandparents connected to be able to see the grandkids.

Logitech makes some decent cams that will be easy for the old folks to use.

In the absence of the search function I'm posting here to be able to find this thread later. Never mind me. Carry on.

MHM, I have a Logitech and have owned it for almost for 2 years and it's pretty darned reliable for me.

Either way, I would suggest you go to some stores like Best Buy or Wal-Mart to look for some. IIRC, I got my Logitech for roughly about 20 bucks or so.
