It was one hell of a game. The hawks defense suffocated their rivals
offense to the tune of NO offensive points allowed. The only points
allowed were in the 4th qtr when our starters were on the bench and we lost a fumble into our endzone.
The RSM Hawks set or tied something like 6 records. I know alot the kids parents that played int he game....It was so cool to see those parents before and after the game.
Perhaps the coolest thing about this whole thing is that the school is a small catholic school in NW Iowa and they've only been plaing football
for 5 varsity seasons. They gave up on soccer and started football.
Can you imagine how much $$$ they had to raise ?
Thank God. It was the schools first team state championship since
they had won SIX state baseball championships in the 1980's.
