What KCJ pulled is FAR worse.

Antrel Rolle would do wonders for this defense.

Why, can he play one corner, two safety spots, MLB and DE all at the same time? :p

When was this Raider fans last post, prior to this one?

5 minutes after a loss that seals no playoffs?

I hope she gives him her asswarts.

Leinart No. 2 overall? Wow...i wouldnt pick him till Round 3. Derrick Johnson should be the first pick. Rolle is a classy kid, too good for the Chiefs. But you guys can have Leon Williams, he would be a great MLB for you, LOL.

Hey, we have the tie breaker with the Panthers, and destiny in our own hands against the Raiders, thats at least 2 slots we can pick up right there.

Outside shot at number 3

Leinart No. 2 overall? Wow...i wouldnt pick him till Round 3. I thought the same thing about Carson Palmer... and then he went #1 overall. I don't see either the 49ers or Fins passing on a QB this year...

From Kiper's Board:

1) 49ers... Mike Williams Jr. WR USC
Terrific combo of size and strength.

2) Fins... Carnell Williams Sr. RB Auburn
Very creative and deceptively strong runner.

3) Skins... Erasmus James Sr. DE Wisconsin
Outstanding pass rusher who can play the run.

4) Panthers... Ronnie Brown Sr. RB Auburn
A complete, explosive back who does it all.

5) Cowboys... Dan Cody Sr. DT Oklahoma
A fiery, intense end who's coming on strong

5) Raiderz... Cedric Benson Sr. RB Texas
Four straight years with over 1,000 yards.

7) Chiefs.... Braylon Edwards Sr. WR Michigan
Has the size, speed and athleticism to dominate.

Damn id love to have Antrel Rolle. He is one of the most promising CB's to come out in the last few years.

I've got my fingers crossed that the Raiders take this guy:

Mathias Kiwanuka
http://graphics.fansonly.com/photos/schools/bc/sports/m-footbl/auto_headshot/7721.jpeg

College: Boston College
Position: Defensive End
Class: Junior
Height: 6-7
Weight: 261
40-Yard: 4.6

Strengths: Physical freak with amazing size, speed and athleticism...Explosive quickness and agility...Dynamic natural pass rusher...A terror who opponents much account for on every snap...The sky is the limit in terms of his upside.

Weaknesses: Has a lean frame and needs to add some weight and continue to get stronger...Can and has been neutralized at times...Very raw in terms of technique and has a ways to go in that area...Especially has a problem with playing too tall.

Notes: Nickname is "Kiwi"...Grandfather was elected Uganda's first prime minister in 1961 and assassinated in 1972 by Idi Amin...A prospect who is still developing but has the tools to be great...Some team will take a chance on his potential very early should he come out after his junior season.

Antrel Rolle would do wonders for this defense.

A rookie corner wouldn't do much in his first year, unless Rolle is extra-special.

Down the line, definitely.

I'd rather have have a FA CB and a LB or DE in the draft.

:hmmm: :hmmm: Hey! Isn't that what folks were saying when KC picked Harry Johnstone (wuts his name?) to compliment Holmes & Blaylock? :hmmm:

Actually, I just matched up the list of prospects on Kiper's board with the draft order. No thinking involved... it hurts too much....

Ah as much as I'd LOVE for this to happen, I've read/heard to often that Antrel Rolle might be the best defensive player in the country... I can't see him falling to 7.

Rolle & Johnson IMO (which doesn't mean much) will go in the top 5. That's where we need to be.

And if we're around 7 or so, then Carl has got to identify those guys as must have players and go get them. I know I know, wishful thinking. :deevee:

7) Chiefs (3-7) 0.56250........................... Antrel Rolle CB, Miami

We can't take this guy. He's a 'Cane and therefore wouldn't fit the 'Profile'. I haven't checked but are we the only team in the NFL without a 'Cane on the roster?

7) Chiefs.... Braylon Edwards Sr. WR Michigan

With a defense as bad as ours we probably would use our 7th round pick on a WR. That would fit perfectly with DV's magical mystery drafts.

I agree, Rolle is a special player and should go in the top 5 easily. Every team in the NFL covets quality corners and he looks to be a keeper. I'd be surprised to see him there at 4, let alone 7. Carl needs to get aggressive in this draft. If we covet Johnson or Rolle, I see nothing wrong with trading up and landing one of these two players. Both seem worthy, IMO.

Our biggest glaring need, IMHO is CB and LB.

If Rolle or Johnson ia available, it would be stupid to not go with one of them, anything else is really stupid.

BTA, I'm not a draft expert or talent scout as some on here think, It's just me and my opinion.

Check you local experts and talent scouts for confirmations.

Check you local experts and talent scouts for confirmations.I agree. Those are our two biggest needs. We need a WR, too, but for some reason the Chiefs chose to pass on a WR until the 4th round last year, but that's another story. If Johnson or Rolle are available we need to draft them with 14 minutes still left on the clock. :p These are impact rookies and that's what we need. Players that look to be able to take it to the next level and those guys do. I would even consider trading up for one of those players. Don't **** this up, Carl.
