As I have to be on the road Thanksgiving, I get to have my Tgiving dinner tonight. Which Marinade would you use for YOUR fried turkey?

Yes, you inject it in the meat prior to frying.

Cajun is best for frying a turkey IMO.

I got this turkey fryer last year and I will never bake another turkey as long as I live. I am doing an 11 pounder and 2 whole chickens. I could have used the cajun but the wife and son don't like the hot stuff. Therefore I went with Garlic and Herb for the turkey and Lemon Pepper for the chicken. Oil is at 225 degrees so it wont be long before it hits 375 and I can drop those badboys in. I can hardly wait.

Outstanding sounds great. The recipe I posted isn't too hot for future reference.

I'll have to give it a try. If it is a recipe from Emeril, it has to be good.

Outstanding. I pulled my stock pot and burner out of storage earlier in the week. Can't wait.

I tried to marinade a turkey one time. The hole was too big and the neck felt boney.
