I just turned over to ESPN2 to see how fast the college football was moving (I don't give a _______________ who wins the game I just want a short game). The game began @ 6:00 and @ 7:13 there are 11 min. left in the first half.

The KU begins @ 9 on ESPN2.

so in otherwords it'll be just like big monday throughout the season..... Every single time KU is on Big Monday on espn, the first game of the triple header goes over its time slot and we miss the first 5-8 minutes of the game. I remember one game last year where they were on and the first game of the double header went so long that there was only 3 minutes remaining in the first half of the Kansas game when it finally got switched.

I just flipped over to espn 2..... now there is 11 minutes left in the 3rd with 40 minutes till KU takes the court. Looks like I'll be lucky to catch the second half.... and I can't listen to it because the d@mn b@st@rds make you pay. I'll be d@mned if I'll pay for something that many other people get for free by turning on the radio dial.

Yes, but are you one of those people? I live in PA, so if they ain't on the TV, I ain't watching them, and I got tired of watching on cbssportsline, so I paid for the package. $4.95/month to listen to my Hawks when I can't watch them on TV (including most of the first half tonight) I'll take it.

If I miss a good portion of the :KU: game because of some 2nd rate college football game, I'm going to rip ESPN's throat out.

I saw that 4.95 bit, and I just choose not to spend money on something others get for free. I thought about it for a second, but when I realized you don't get post season audio, I figured it wasn't worth it to me. I guess I'll just listen to their games against KSU since they don't make you pay (and other teams that do the same), and watch the games that are on espn. I don't want yahoo to store my credit card number and just keep billing me.

On another note, college football really needs to start thinking about ways to keep the clock moving. The amount of time required to play them is getting out of hand.

well Metro Sports will play it in its entirety... sometimes its taped delayed... just stay away form media outlets.

THey just said on the Football game that they'd get people in the KU and St. Joe's areas to opening tip. I wonder if I am in the St. Joe's area? Anyone know the rule on radial distance for TV coverage? I live about 350 as the crow flies from Philly. Seems a bit far away.

no big deal to you.... but I think a 4 hour game that doesn't go into overtime is rediculous. Didn't all of KU's games this year go 4 hours? If they didn't it sure seemed like it. Not acceptable when you are only allowing 3 hours for television coverage.

I don't like people touching the game screwing with flow and what not...It works out fine as it is.
