Dear CP Nation and Friends of Radio Blowfish:
My license with Live 365 will be expiring soon. For the last year I've programmed Radio Blowfish, a free internet radio station for the dining and dancing pleasure of my pals, including the folks here at CP. As part of my efforts, I've been bestowed the honorary title of "Official Radio Voice of JYIS" (Jane You Ignorant Slut) a hilarious political discussion forum on Yahoo. You can see it here:

The question is this: Should Radblow be retired, or continue into 2005? I know some of you have gotten into subscription radio services like Sirius or XM Satellite Radio. And they're great services, really. I'm trying to decide whether or not to commit to doing Radblow for another year, and need to make a decision fairly soon.
Part of the decision will be based on whether you enjoy internet radio, how often you listen (if ever at all) and if a six hour program loop is sufficent. It's really all I can afford, and all I have time to program, quite frankly. I have a massive music collection. If I change the programming on Radblow once a week (sometimes I do it twice) that about 36,500 songs a year. It takes a lot of music to keep it fresh and interesting, which I've tried to do. It's also a lot of work to make new commericals, breakers, etc. Its a lot of fun too, and I don't mind doing it as long as folks enjoy it and keep listening. If there's no audience, there's no point really.
So drop me an e-mail (spam@georgeblowfish.com) and let me know what you think. If the service is enjoyed and is appreciated, I'll be happy to continue. If not, I'll pull the plug. So answer honestly, and we'll see if Radblow has a shelf life for 2005. I'll be making a final decision sometime in December.
If you haven't checked it out and would like to, you can listen with ITunes or Winamp for free. The address is here:

Thanks! -George Blowfish-
