Anyone gonna watch this game? Is ND going to pull the upset? Or will USC blow them out?

It's on ABC.

No way Notre Dame is within four touchdowns at the end.

USC drive stalled at mid-field. Punting it away to ND.
Downed at the 8.

Looks like the weather might slow things down. It might actually make it a closer game.

Yeah, like the USC @ Oregon St. game where the fog was one of the factors.

ND is mixing it up nicely with the run and pass. Right at USC's midfield.

Nice catch and run by the TE for ND.

We've opened up pretty well. I don't expect to be in it by halftime though. :(

ND is mixing up the pass and run very nicely, and it's very effective right now. 1st and Goal for ND.

I may be crazy but i think ND may have a shot at this.

The fog may have been heavy, but I really think the only thing it affected was the broadcast. I think it was the Beavers that kept the game close. I have played in a lot of foggy games, but never seen it have an affect on the game itself.

We're inconsistent. Our D can play well, but our offense won't keep this up.

They can if they keep running right at USC's D-Line.

And ND is short by 1 yard. Will they go for it?

Yeah, but there has been other foggy games that did affect the game, especially the Chicago game.

TD ND! Nice playcalling by the ND O-Coordinator.

TD Notre Dame. :)

Great play call. We would've never got in running the ball.

Wow, nice catch and concentration by #15 for USC.
Edited: That should had been 2 INT's for ND.

Big run by #4 for ND.

I don't like either one of them but have to go with USC. It makes the BCS look foolish with 3 undefeated teams and no way to break the tie.

Man, ND is really attacking the SC's front line. Even their QB is outrunning the SC's D-Line.

actually it worse for the BCS if the trojans win but look like total crap doing it.

then not only is the #2 spot up for debate, but the top spot

hope USC wins by 1 pt in overtime on a blown call

Big play by USC to the Irish 28. Nice pass by Leinart.

Boy, the Irish D-backs really look like the Chiefs. :shake:

Tied game. Man.

ND still running it on the ground. I think this one has the making of an excellent football game to be honest with you if ND can keep doing what they are doing.

Well that didn't take long.

TD USC.

Your take of the game HolmeZz?

A lot closer than I thought it'd be. Notre Dame dominated the first quarter, while the second quarter was all USC's. The Irish have to capitalize on mistakes the Trojans make, like a few INTs they could've had & the dropped pass by Stovall when he was open, and they haven't done that up to this point. ND's been great against the run once again tonight, but the secondary's giving up too many big plays. The Irish offense has played as well tonight as they have all year. They're moving the ball really well, in both the air and on the ground. They can't settle for FGs though. Need TDs to keep up with USC. Keep utilizing the height difference Stovall has on that 5'10 corner from USC. That's what I want to see more of.

I don't see us winning this game though. The momentum's changed completely into USC's favor. ND will show me whether or not they'll hang with USC by what they do with the ball on the first drive of the 2nd half. If they can't get much done, I really think this could get ugly.

Good intake HolmeZz

SC gets down the field, but have to settle for a 42 yd. FG.

20-10 SC.

Coach

ND is dominating the SC run D. SC gives up an average of 69 rush yards a game, and ND has 165 rushing yards to this point. ND near the red zone.

Stupid trick play stalled out the drive. Why did they stop running it right at them?

Great now they missed the FG.

That is what I thought. Terrible play calling. They need to get back to what they were doing in the 1st Quarter if they want the chance.

Funny thing though, ND shot themselves in the foot. That offsides by #66 really killed them. If that was not offsides, then SC would be forced to punt.

I was actually going to root for USC in the NC title game, but the fake punt + long TD pass when they were 24 points with 7 minutes left really made them look like assholes.
