When he's introduced on Monday Night Football, why does he state his high school as opposed to his college? His college is listed as Eastern Michigan, and he had a full and pretty good college career there. Is he ticked off at Eastern Michigan for some reason, or does he just really like his high school?

I remember the annoucer commenting on this once, but I don't think they really said. I think they just said something like, "By the way, Dalton did go to college -- at Eastern Michigan."

As alumni, he probably doesn't want to contribute money there. These smaller schools don't get too many players in the NFL and when they do, perhaps they feel like they've hit the jackpot. Of course, this is entirely speculation.

Some do it b/c they are bitter about the college... there's a guy from Florida State (forgetting his name now - he's a receiver) that was hung out to dry in his final year, so he says his high school.
