What is a farmer to do with outside kittens? He can't bring a litter of kittens and momma in the house if they aren't house cats. They'd make his entire home their litterbox. The barn is actually a pretty safe place for them if momma cat is smart enough to keep them safe. If not, oh well - natural selection.

It's not like they're pets in this case. They're on a farm, serving a purpose just like any other animal destined for the slaughterhouse.

Anyway, he's not to fond of cats.... there have been many sickening stories involving cats I've heard over the years. Cats with fire. Cats with bales of hay on top of them. Cats with heads underneath tractor wheels. I think he's grown out of it, though, he still laughs at the memories, which is scary enough.
