Poll coming forth. I'm going to do what you should never do and assume the Minnesota/Green Bay loser gets the first NFC wild card spot. Who's going to win the final wild card spot in the NFC? Let's see your prognostication skills.

*Minnesota 7-4
--------
NY Giants 5-6
St. Louis 5-6
Dallas 4-7
Detroit 4-7
Chicago 4-7
Carolina 4-7
Tampa Bay 4-7

Hopefully Carolina. I like them more than the other suck ass teams in contention. :)

Giants have the best chance. St.Louis/Seattle runner up is next.

The winner could be 8-8 or even 7-9. I hope it is the latter. That would be awesome.

Personally I want to lean towards the Giants, but they're starting a rookie QB and their schedule is not easy at all. Really I don't think there's a gimme after this week for the Rams either. Somebody with a real ugly record might get in. I think it's humorous, this is the parity that everybody always loves about the NFL...

NY Giants
---------
at Washington
at Baltimore
Pittsburgh
at Cincinnati
Dallas

St. Louis
---------
San Francisco 1:00 pm
at Carolina 4:15 pm
at Arizona 4:05 pm
Philadelphia 9:00 pm
NY Jets 1:00 pm

looking at their schedules, it's possible that a lot of those teams might end up at 8-8 at best...

i'm not sure that there will be another 9 gamer winner in that group...

so, no prediction...
