Ok, so my oldest Son turned 11 today and we had a birthday party for him and his friends at the house. But it doesn’t stop with his friends. My wife has to make sure every fuggin Philippineo in the local metro area shows up. Food for the kids and then a ****ing buffet for everyone else.

I’m not kidding… My Wife and I have been cooking since 5 this morning. 3 whole chickens, two chicken casseroles, 3 different noodles, beef, vegi things, crab Rangoon, egg rolls, ponsit, couple of oriental pork dishes, buffalo wings, fresh fruit, roles, vegi / cracker/ cheese / cold cut plater, and a salad. I know I’m missing a few, but you get the point. All this and a house full of screaming kids. I'm going to need a lobotomy before this is all over. Next year we’re going to Chucky Cheese.

Ok, breaks over... Back to the insanity.

One of my best friends if Filipino and grew up in Chicago. Went with him back home on a visit on his parent's 30th wedding anniversary, and it was like a weekend of buffets in various kitchens around town. This aunt, . . that cousin, . . . great uncle xxx and his new GF. Everybody had bowls and bowls of tasty stuff on the table and tons of family and friends milling around.

Dude,
I can't believe you're married to a Filipina and don't know how to spell the word! My wife would kick my ass up and down the Hollywood Hills if I couldn't correctly spell Filipino/Filipina.
Also, how can one complain about eating Shanghia Lumpia and Pancet? I doubt you were up at 5am making Chocolate Meat (which I refuse to even try; I can't even look at it!).
Just be happy that you're actually married to a Filpina and that they have great families that come along for the party. And by the way, the hottest porn chicks in the world are Filipinas (although I personally wouldn't know anything about that...)

No, but I'm going to guess that it's an interesting game.

When I was in college, I had a distant crush in a Filipina girl in my "Electrical Engineering for non-Electrical Engineers" class. Wowza. She sat on the other side of the big lecture hall, so I never met her or got her name, but I spent many long lectures just staring at her and thinking "What if...?"

That's no way to talk about your wife, R&G. What's she doing next weekend?
