I couldn't believe some of the mental errors and plain dumbness I saw yesterday. I don't expect much intelligent ball out of Oakland but that was worse then their usual.

Maybe Calihan was right; they are the dumbest team in football.

That's what you can expect when the owner insists on hiring coaches with no sack. Al Davis wants a coach that he can push around, and it seems to translate to a coach that players push around as well. The one coach that had the nuts to stand up to Davis isn't coaching there anymore, and it's no coincidence that it was the same coach that squeezed success out of those thugs.

What disturbs me when anyone plays at Oakland is that they're so thug-like that you almost expect to see blood protruding from their stomach after a tackle.
