Arn't the legal ones the ones where you pay for the music somehow?

F that.

You won't get caught. There's several millions doing it. Just use whatever program you like.

iTunes

That's what I use. At .99 a song you can spend the 15 dollars you would on a cd and have every song you purchased one that you wanted. None of this one or two songs on a disc that are good while the rest are crap.

I believe in paying for my music anyway, so this setup works beautifully for me.

Yeah I was told Diet Kazzaa and Kazzaa Light wasn't like that but it is. I don't have a music download program right now because of the spyware. I need one and I have nothing to spy on but I don't like being spied on so I ain't playin' there game.

Hell at 43 I've never been accused of being an adult. You kids should really learn how to get along. Always do good and always be smart but don't grow up till you have to. It's a myth anyways.........

And phil I have KazaaLite++ on my desktop at home, got it when it originally came out and was completelly spyware free. Here on my laptop I have SoulSeek (Zach's recommendation) and I like it much more than Kazaa. You can also pay $5 and get special privilages, but you do not have to.

PhilFree

speed depends on the user. It's a direct connect type downloader. It's really crappy if you are looking for singles and such. Soulseek is best for full albums. The selection is great.

no you don't HAVE to, but many people won't let you download from them if you don't share. I really DON'T recommend slsk if you don't want full albums.

I dont download that much music but i dont really like to share since it seems thats how the RIAA gets you. I do prefer geting whole albums at a time so i may check it out.

When i had the Kazzaa stuff I felt like alot of stuff showed up on my CP that I didn't know was comin. Maybe it was something else but "there is no such thing as a free lunch". I just might try soulseek. Since I started over on my CP me and the wife have missed sittin around with a beverage downloading and listening to music together.

Kazaa lite revolution. May not be completely legal, but who cares anyway. Neither is Jaywalking but I bet you have done that before. No spyware either. Unless you are downloading 1500 songs a day and sharing them online you are gonna get a free pass...........
