We haven't changed things much over the years, but some other teams have... worth checking out.

Holy Crap what the hell is that thing on the Broncos helmet from 1962-66? That has got to be one of the ugliest things on a uniform I've ever seen (and I'm not just saying that cuz its the Donkeys)

One of many poopstains you find around the Broncos locker room ever since they signed Jake Plumber.

I think it must be a Donkey, it has that stubborn, "I'm not moving, you can just drag me by the reigns", pose.

Don't you mean that "I'm not changing now, I'm letting my plumber throw his 4th INT instead of running it in from the 2 for the go ahead TD"?

No, that is a rat, not a donkey. Anything he can do to up Jakes stats to make the decision to sign him look like genius with the observant Taco ilk.

Of course by observant I mean blind homer, but you get the idea.

When I was in 3rd grade I made profile sketches of the helmets of all (then) 26 teams. That ruled.

I think the 1974 - 1987 Chargers are probably the best looking. I think it'd be pretty cool to do throwback uni's for all MNF games...

ROFL Denver wore those as throwbacks in 94 for the 75th anniversary of the NFL... if you ever get watch a full copy of the Montana/Elway duel at Mile High from that year, they show highlights from earlier in the season where they're wearing those....

Wonder how much money the Browns have saved on design costs over the years?

I did that too. But I wasn't much of an artist so I just did the Browns helmet.

Nice.

If King Carl does visit the Planet, the Chiefs will be wearing solid red helmets next season.

Can't compete since question 1 failed, you know. Gotta save $ on the decals.

Here's a link from my website http://www.georgeblowfish.com on another site that has the history of helmets; not only the NFL but WFL, USFL, Canadian Football and XFL. Very cool site:
