I haven't heard this guy's name at all this season. Are we going to hear next year what a "silent warrior" this guy is? Are we going to hear how underrated and underappreciated he is in the NFL? I hope not. I don't think he's worth any more than a warm body on the D-line. I'd like to see him replaced with a young and hungry DT.

Interestingly, I think Browning very quietly lost his starting position, first to Dalton at DT and then at Allen at RDE.

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Browning start at LDE for the rest of the year.

tis where he belongs ... to bad just gave Hicks a brand new spankity contract last year. Shouldn't he just be cut? Isn't he worthless? I've not seen him make a good play in 2 years. It used to be that he was always injured. Now, he's not injured, but he doesn't do anything to stand out. Right? Shouldn't we let him go and put a youngster in his spot? A youngster couldn't do any worse. Agree? :hmmm:

I think he ran to Dairy Queen for something.

Actually I remember hearing his name announced after making a tackle quite a few times in the San Diego game. Oh, and of course he's right

I agree. DV actually heaped praise on Browning earlier this week for putting a lot of pressure on Kerry Collins at the end of the Oakland game.

So Browning is our leading tackler along the defensive line. Interesting.

These stats also show that Hicks has started 12 games, but only played in 10. I think some of us would argue that he's played in fewer.

I did not want to resign Browning. It seemed like he never did anything.

Browning is quietly productive and IMO is a good backup guy

the problem is ... we have him starting
