who cares about the heisman? when the last time the heisman winner was good in the nfl?

Shocking.

Should've been Bush. The disenfranchised Kerry vote didn't swing in his favor at all.

Where's Denise?

She's celebrating, because she can finally say that, "Bush lost the election."

Heisman seems to have lost its luster in recent years, imo anyway.

Great another piece of sh!t that won't do sh!t in the NFL. Peterson should have won hands down. I liked it when they showed the past Heisman winners ROFL A bunch of guys that lasted 4-6 months in the NFL.

Palmer is doing his part in recent weeks to change that heisman thing.

I wouldn't be so sure about that...He appears to have pretty decent tools and is extremely smart. He's no Danny Woeful that is for sure.

palmer is yet to be determined lets wait a couple of more years to see if he makes the bungles winners

The Heisman is not a good indicator of NFL success. Except for guys like Hershel Walker.

I didn't think he could win but I would like to have seen Reggie Bush get it because he is a local kid from our school district.

It's not about NFL success, either. Ron Dayne deserved the Heisman, regardless of how shitty he is in the NFL. The guy was an amazing college football player. That's supposedly what the award's for, but the formula has become "pick the QB of one of the top five teams" of late.

Adrian Peterson should've won it, IMO. Him and Bush are the only ones with NFL talent, IMO.

Again... it's not about picking the players most likely to succeed in the NFL. That's what the draft is for (except in Carl's case, amirightamirightamiright!).

But they're just being lazy. Bush, Benson, Peterson... all deserved it more than any of the QBs, and Benson didn't even make the trip.

What about the year Woodson got it, anyone think Tommy Frazier should've instead?

I thought it wouuld be Matt but thought White should win it but wanted Peterson to :(

It seems like it is becoming like the MVP. The leader of the best team. It should be purely the best College Football player. Reggie Bush
