Yeah, we'll see how well that works. Sexson was hurt all of last year and Beltre has one good season under his belt. There is some definite risk in paying those two guys 115 million dollars but I guess that's the name of the game. After coming back down to earth the last few years free agency contracts have gone nuts this year...

And the A's just traded Tim Hudson to the Braves. Great move for Atlanta... doesn't look like they gave up much really for him. I can't believe the Dodgers and Cardinals couldn't offer a better package than that... both of those teams have not had good offseasons at all.
