Are you going to have snow for Christmas this year ?

Who like to have snow during Christmas ?

Currently, we are getting 2 - 6 inches now, it's suppose to turn off cold and in the teens for the next 3 days. This Christmas will be white, plus some brown, black, crappy looking snow.

It started to snow here about 7:30 am, so far we have about 3 - 4 inches on the ground.

Still getting it here, about 7 - 8 inches now, calling for more snow, sleet and freezing rain throughout the night.

Est. amounts are 10 - 24 inches in our area before it's done. :shake:

Temps here was about 71 over nite and going up to 86 today.... The only snow we will see is on the news reports... or we could go to the beach and think of the sand as snow!!!!

Here in Columbus, Ohio, we are supposed to have between 8 - 12 inches before it is all said and done.

On Monday however, it is supposed to be up to 50 degrees....

As long as I was in a helicopter. It is bad enough with these fools on the rare occasion it rains.

I always like having snow on Christmas but looks like the odds are slim for that this year.

Depends on whether you mean South Dakota or San Diego.

If San Diego, then yes it rains less than 15 days during a year on average I would guess.

There was talk of maybe getting snow with this cold front but it doesn't look like it is panning out. Just cold, cold, cold (supposed to get down to the low 20's tonight  ). Yesterday was in the upper 70's with a high today of 39!

No snow in SF but I have spent the last few Christmases in Tahoe and it was great having the snow. It was also great to drive home and leave it all behind.

It's not only snowing right now, but it is blizzard-like conditions.

It is beautiful! I LOOOOVVVEEE snow! Of course, I like sunny days at the beach better, and maybe a roaring thunderstorm on lazy summer evenings, but I've always loved a good snowstorm. The more snow, the better! :thumb:

The bad part about snow is the cold. It's 8° now and the high for today is forecast to be 24°. Sux!!

Well we ended up getting about 12 - 16 inches in all, about 6" of it was sleet.

It got really windy and cold, now it's blowing around, hard to tell the actual amount.

Yes, we are having a " White Christmas " ( Can hear Bing Crosby in the back ground ). Temps here for the next 3 days are single digits or teens.

I guess we were lucky, we didn't get the freezing rain hard and the sleet kept the accumalation down.

The big winter storm just finished up here this morning. We got about 15 inches over the last 24 hours. Up in Salem Indiana they are reporting 30 inches.

I can believe it, the way this thing went to the northeast, we were only 40 miles from the rain. It got worst about 20 - 60 miles north of us, SW to NE

Well it somehow snowed while i was in south Houston...Went on for a few hours too.

It snows about every 10 years here so the chances of it happening on christmas eve are damn near impossible.

There is no snow on the ground up here - it all hit south of us.

It's colder than my ex-wife's heart, though. Low will be below zero for the second night, and the high was barely out of single digits. Tomorrow will be slightly better, but we won't get a real break from the cold until early next week.

I'd rather it was about 20 degrees warmer and we had snow. I like snow for Christmas. Oh well.

I think I'll be celebrating it in Missouri next year. It's been nearly a decade since I've spent the holidays with a blood relative - every year we go to my wife's parents house. I've had enough of that shit.

The family CEO (otherwise know as my father-in-law) has been annoying the hell out of me lately. The latest shot - he's decreed a DRESS CODE for Christmas. That's right - a f#cking dress code for a family holiday where no one else is coming over and we aren't going anywhere. I suspect he merely doesn't want me sporting Chiefs clothing on Christmas.

Next year, he can wear a f#cking tux for all I care. I'll be elsewhere. :grr:

No thanks - I'm a traditional Christmas guy. Give me family and turkey.

Another thing - tomorrow for dinner we're having beef tenderloin. BEEF F#CKING TENDERLOIN. WHAT THE F#CK KIND OF CHRISTMAS DINNER IS THAT? Had the shit last year. The MIL overcooked it so it was as dry as sawdust, served alongside her famously shitty mashed potatoes. I thought I was going to f#cking vomit. Definitely gonna head south next year - my relatives actually know how to cook.
